This year, the INTA AM will be in Barcelona, Spain from 20 – 24th May.
Although called the International Trademark Association, their events are attended by a large number of professionals with diverse IP backgrounds such as branding, trademarks, copyright, industrial designs and patents.
Last year more than 10,000 people attended to learn from great presentations and workshops, and to network with fellow professional from 140 countries. I met a lot of patent attorneys myself, including many foreign associates and agents.
This year, I am excited to moderate a session (CSA51) on Sat. 20 May 2017 at 13:30 about protecting inventions with smaller budgets.
With colleagues from The Netherlands (Marieke Westgeest), US (Eric Morehouse) and China (Stephen Yang), we will highlight some of the possibilities around the world, and share our own experiences of helping startups and small businesses.
The presentation will be followed by a Patent Professional Networking Reception, where you can network and drink cocktails with other patent specialists.
