WISEflow automatically generates a Table of Contents with clickable hyperlinks if you use header styles. This helps quickly scroll/jump through a long answer.
The max nr of tabs depends on your screen size. I recommend a large (27-in or larger) external monitor connected to a laptop. But you will need to use an external webcam on top of the monitor.
It is not possible to view tabs side-by-side, but it is possible to view 2x side-by-side pages of the assignment in each tab. Use the pdf viewing options in each tab.
There is the assignment “Preview” pop-up that you can use for a side-by-side view of a page with your answer. But you cannot copy/paste anything from it, you cannot highlight/underline the text, and the “Preview” is sometimes too blurry to read.
Be careful with formatting – you do not need to make it look nice, and you can waste a lot of time with this. Most keyboard shortcuts are disabled or illegal keys in WISEflow:
- For strikethrough, you need to select the text and use the icon on the WISEflow toolbar.
- CTRL C and CTRL-SHIFT V allows copying without formatting from the assignment to your answer. This does not work on a Mac/Apple computer.
- Html formatting can be removed by selecting the text in your answer, and clicking the “remove formatting” icon in the WISEflow toolbar.
- Unfortunately, there is no way to retain the formatting when copying between sections of your answer in WISEflow.
- Don’t use ALT-TAB – this is considered an attempt to cheat!
